PURPOSE:To improve the cutting accuracy by providing means for energizing the driving means of suction drum and the entirety of decelerating means in reverse direction from the driving direction thereby preventing rotation of drum through inertia of decelerating means when energized in removing direction of backlash and stopped. CONSTITUTION:The transmission system 8 is energized to provide back tension in reverse direction from the rotary direction of a step motor 5 to remove backlash of decelerator 6 by means of backlash removing mechanism 10. Said mechanism 10 has a motor 11 coupled through a deceleration unit 12 and a powder clutch 13 to the transmission system 8 which is energized in reverse direction from the rotary direction of step motor 5. The energizing force or the rotary force to be transmitted through the powder clutch 13 to the transmission system will be such magnitude as to absorb the inertia under deceleration or acceleration thus to set the binding force of powder clutch 13 accordingly. In such a manner, the backlash of decelerator is removed to improve the cutting accuracy.
