2,6-di-O-methyl-beta-cyclodextrin complexes of compounds of the formula (1a) <IMAGE> wherein R2' stands for C1 to C12 alkyl or a group of the formula <IMAGE> in which R11 is C1 to C4 alkyl; R12 is hydrogen or C1 to C4 alkyl; n is 0 or 1; p is 1 to 4; r is 1 to 4; and R3' and R4' are each C1 to C4 alkyl, or pharmaceutically salts thereof are disclosed, having analgesic activity.
