PURPOSE:To eliminate the attitude difference of off-tracks by providing two or three spindles where frames intersect nearly perpendicularly and pivoting one between a housing and the frame and the other between a cover member and the frame. CONSTITUTION:A disk device 1 stands still in an attitude where moments at both sides caused by weight are balanced with respect to a spindle A. With respect to a spindle B the device 1 stands still in an attitude where moments for applying to both sides of the spindle B having weight available from synthesizing those of the disk device 1 and an inner frame 3 are balanced. Accordingly the device stands still in the attitude where weight synthesized with that of the inner frame 3 will not cause angular moment with respect to either of the spindles A and B. Even if the cover member 2 is placed with its face Z downward during carrying or in use, a spindle C for extending from an outer frame 3 rotates with a bearing pressure-inserted into the cover member 2 as a center to hold the attitude, because the disk device 1 tries to maintain its attitude with respect to a floor face.
