PURPOSE:To enable to perform rapid heating rise, by a method wherein a control device, in which plural sets of patterns different in an output are mounted, is connected, and under a set OFF state during heating operation, the output of an inverter is gradually increased to preheat a capacity varying the compressor. CONSTITUTION:2 preheating output patterns 11 and 12, for example, 15W and 40W are mounted in a control device 10, and under a set OFF state during heating operation, the pattern is set so that operation is performed according to a predetermined process. When, under an set-off state during heating operation, a specified time lapsed, a signal of a low input 11 is sent to an inverter, the winding of a compressor is energized by means of a low output from the inverter, and the compressor is preheated by means of a low putput. After a given time lapsed, the output is changed over, a high input 12 is sent to the inverter, the winding of the compressor is energized by means of a high output from the inverter, and the temperature of the compressor is so increased as to allow rapid heating rise.
