PURPOSE:To provide a waterproofing compsn. having excellent resistance to crack, water and alkali, prepared by adding alumina cement to a specified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion. CONSTITUTION:The waterproofing compsn. is prepared by adding alumina cement and aggregate (e.g. glass fibre) to an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer emulsion having a glass transition point of -15-15 deg.C which may contain thickener, defoamer, dispersant, preservative, etc. when necessary. The alumina cement is added in 20-200wt% based on solid resin in the emulsion and the aggregate is added in 300wt% or lower of the alumina cement. The waterproofing compsn. is applied to concrete substrate in a film thickness of 0.5-4mm to form a waterproofing layer. |
