PURPOSE:To enable formation of an exhaust device attached in an arbitrary position even by an unskilled person, by a method wherein the exhaust device has the length being long enough to allow free connection of a space above an arbitrary burner to a ventilating window, has a window part connecting part at the one end, has a flat outer edge plate at the other end, is formed in a square in cross section, and has an expandable bollows formed by an alumi foil. CONSTITUTION:Although a bellows 1l made of an aluminum foil is compressed, if it is expanded, it is stretched to an enough length, and can interconnect a ventilating fan and a space above a burner. An arbitrary connecting tool 2, connected to a ventilat ing window or a ventilating fan, is provided and is connected and secured to a flat plate 3, having an opening 4, or a bellows 1. A volume prevailing when a duct is compressed can be compressed as the limit of thickness to a total amount of the thicknesses of foils. As compared with a skeleton type duct available in a market, the bellows can be compressed to so thin size that it entirely cannot bear comparison therewith. Further, since the duct part is only an aluminum foil, the bellows can be used in a disposable manner, and this eliminates a cleansing, work of the interior of the duct.
