Flow improvers - for middle distillate fuel having increased low temp flowability

Wax-contg. petroleum distillate fuel (b.pt. 250-700 degrees F) having improved low temp. flow props. is obtd. by adding 1) 0.1-3.0 wt% satd. hydrocarbon fraction of av. mol. wt. 600-3000, the fraction being fee of normal paraffin hydrocarbons, and 2) 0.005-1.0 wt.% wax-modifying random copolymer of 3-40 molar portions ethylene and 1 molar portion unsatd. ester, the copolymer having av. mol. wt. 1000-50000 and having 6 methyl-terminating side branches on the polyethylene backbone per 100 methylene gps.
