PURPOSE:To improve the cooling power and the magnetic shielding effect by a method wherein a baffle plate of chimney form made of non-magnetic conductor is provided on a cooling unit, and a reactor is provided in the space surrounded by the baffle plate. CONSTITUTION:The baffle plate 7 made of non-magnetic conductor such as aluminum is arranged in chimney form so as to surround the top surface of the condensing part of a condenser 4 encased in a frame 2 installed below the floor of the body 1, and this baffle plate 7 is fixed to the condenser 4 by welding or screwing; besides, a reactor 5 is settled in the surrounded space. The external connection terminals 8 of the reactor 5 can be led out of the baffle plate 7. Since the magnetic flux leaking out of the reactor 5 to the side and lower directions is the alternating flux, eddy currents generate in the direction of cancelling this flux. Rising currents of air generate by the high temperature heating by the reactor 5, and the cooling power increases by the chimney effect produced by the baffle plate 7. |
