PURPOSE:To perform an increase in the output of an AC servo motor by laying a conduit for passing coolant along a disc-shaped stator element having a winding to forcibly cool it to enhance the cooling effect, thereby flowing a large current through the winding. CONSTITUTION:Disc-shaped stator elements 11 each having a winding 12, disc- shaped rotor elements 13 each having a permanent magnet 14 are alternately disposed oppositely to form an AC servo motor. A conduit 18 is laid along the winding 12 of the element 11, and coolant is flowed to forcibly cool the winding 12. Thus, heat generated from the winding 12 is forcibly exhausted, a large current is flowed to the winding 12 to enhance the output. |
