PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and to reduce man-hour by forming a stationary shaft into a contilever construction and pressing a rotating body part inserted loosely to the stationary shaft to the stationary end part side of the stationary shaft thereby fixing integrally said part to a housing. CONSTITUTION:The stationary shaft part 15 having the stationary shaft 23 fixed at the bottom end to a lower housing 21, the rotating body part 16 having a rotating body 28 and a polygonal mirror 30, a magnetic thrust bearing part 17 which lifts the part 16 without contacting therewith, a rotating body fixing part 20 having a pressing body 38 and a projecting seat 39, etc. are provided in the housing 13. The body 28 is pressed until the bottom end face thereof contacts with the seat 39 against the magnetic force of the bearing part 17 after the screw part 40 of the pressing body 38 is screwed to press the contact part 41 to the top end face of the body 28 in order to prevent the damage owing to the oscillation of the body 28 in the case of transporting the optical deflecting device, then the body 28 is integrally fixed to the housing 13 by the fixing part 20 and therefore the shaft 23 is made into the cantilever construction. |
