In the case of a rotor, especially of a rotary-wing aircraft, having a rotor hub with blade holders in each case in the form of a fork-shaped rotor arm (2) which points radially outwards and whose fork limbs are components of two plates (6) which are seated in a coaxial arrangement on a hub base body (5), at a distance, and consist of fibre-composite plastic, the hub base body (5) (which consists of a material which has a greater modulus of elasticity and a greater modulus of shear than the fibre-composite plastic) has in each case one fixed flange (5.1 or 5.2 respectively) in the form of a shaft stub which is detachable from the rotor drive shaft (7) at each end (5.3 or 5.4 respectively), which fixed flange is offset therefrom by at least the thickness of the plate (6) which is in each case seated thereon, in order to form above there a frame socket for the plate centre in conjunction with, on the one hand, an end flange (7.1) of the rotor drive shaft (7) and, on the other hand, a hub covering plate (9), in each case of the same material.
