MODIFIED RUBBER/ASPHALT COMPOSITION

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the titled aq. compsn. which is hydraulic, has excellent adhesion and gives a coating film which is highly flexible and has very low permeability to gases, water and moisture, consisting of rubber, asphalt, a tackifying resin and a hydraulic clinker powder. CONSTITUTION:1-30pts.wt. tackifying resin such as rosin derivative resin having a softening point of 150 deg.C or below as a modifier is uniformly melt-mixed with 100pts.wt. mixture of asphalt and 5-50wt% rubber such as styrene/butadiene rubber. The mixture is emulsified in water by using a surfactant such as polyoxyethylene alkyl ether to obtain an aq. modified rubber/asphalt emulsion. 20-150pts.wt. hydraulic clinker powder composed of cement clinker contg. at least 10wt% of each of Al2O3 and SO3 is mixed with said emulsion before its use.
