Pelletising device with pressure-relieved die plate

Devices for pelletising thermoplastics have die plates of large thickness to prevent deformation thereof. The outlet bores of these die plates have high flow resistances, which must be overcome by correspondingly high pressures of the plastication units. A device for pelletising thermoplastics is to be improved with the object of preventing deformation of the die plates when using die plates with low flow resistance. To this end it is proposed to support the die plate in its central region by means of an adjustable stay.
