<p>PURPOSE:To contrive to eliminate the loss of material and time when material supply is stopped and said supply is reopened by pushing out all high temperature material in a gap from the tip of a cylinder by a ram after extrusion when a shear heating device is idling. CONSTITUTION:The material M extruded into the gap between a cylinder 3 and a mandrel 2 from an extruder 1 causes vulcanizing and crosslinking reaction by shear action on the way to the discharging outlet 9 of the cylinder 3, and becomes reacted material M', and then is sent, as it is, into a mold, etc. from the discharging outlet 9. After the material M' has been sent, the extruder 1 and the mandrel 2 are stopped, and an extruding ram 6 is pushed into the cylinder 3 by a fluid pressure cylinder 7, whereby all said material M' between the cylinder 7 and the mandrel 2 is pushed out of the discharging outlet 9, and the material M before reaction is caused to remain near the discharging outlet 9.</p> |
