PURPOSE:To obtain a superior image prevented from edge staining by processing a photographic sensitive material having a silver halide emulsion layer on the support of a polyester film or the like coated with fine white pigment particles with a processing soln. contg., as the bleaching agent, a ferric complex salt having the ligand of an org. acid having a mol.wt. of a specified value or more. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer is formed on the nontransparent support of a polyester film contg. a dispersed white pigment, such as BaSO4 or TiO2, or a polyester film coated with said fine particles to obtain a photographic sensitive material. After development, it is processed with a bleaching soln., especially, one-bath type bleach-fixing soln. contg., as the beaching agent, the ferric complex salt of an aminopolycarboxylic acid having a free acid mol.wt. of >=300, such as diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid, thus permitting the cut section of a color paper to be prevented from being stained by adsorption of the ferric complex salt, the unexposed part to be pevented from yellow stains, and a color image good in storage stability to be obtained. |
