摘要

PURPOSE:To retard decrease in electrolyte to prevent early drop of battery capacity by covering the outer surface of a container and a cover made of glass with synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A covering layer 2 of synthetic resin is formed on the outer surface of a glass container 1 to form a battery container 3. The outer surface of a cover made of glass is covered with synthetic resin. By using these container and cover, penetration of moisture from the container 3 and the cover is retarded or prevented. Thereby, early performance drop of the battery caused by decrease in electrolyte is prevented.
