AUTOMATIC WELDING DEVICE WITH OPTICAL SENSOR

PURPOSE:To allow an optical sensor to function satisfactorily by disposing a sucker which removes smoke and dust adjacently to the optical sensor. CONSTITUTION:The arc 4 of a welding torch 3 executes welding in the environment of a flux 6 supplied from a flux supply hose 5 and a flux 8 preset to a flux base 7 made of copper, etc. in the bottom of a welding work 2. The flux 6 is sandy and combustible dust is liable to intrude into such flux. Smoke 10 is generated along the groove of the work 2 on account of the chemicals contained in a welding wire. The sucker 11 provided adjecently to the optical sensor 1 sucks such smoke and dust. The sensor 1 functions therefore correctly.
