PURPOSE:To improve the linearity of output frequency change against a control voltage change by connecting a resistor in series with a capacitor in a multivibrator whose output frequency is changed by changing a charge/discharge current value of the capacitor. CONSTITUTION:The resistor RD is connected in series with the capacitor C of the multivibrator whose output frequency is changed by changing the charge/ discharge current of the capacitor C and at a path through which most of the charge/discharge current of the capacitor C flows. When the current I is increased to increase the oscillating frequency in this circuit, a potential difference produced across the resistor RD is increased and a potential difference required across the capacitor contributed to the potential difference of the emitters of transistors 3, 5 is decreased as the current I increases. Then the linearity of the output frequency change in the multivibrator against the change in the control voltage VC is improved best. |
