VOICE MAIL SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A voice mail service providing method is provided to report arrival of a message to a subscriber as soon as a new voice message arrives at a voice mail, and to enable the subscriber to hear the voice message selectively. CONSTITUTION: A voice mail service providing method is described in which when a new voice message arrives at a voice mail(S1), whether a service item of subscriber information is registered is judged(S2). If not, the procedure is ended. If so, a call is connected to a terminal of the subscriber(S3), and arrival of the voice message is reported by voice(S4). Whether the subscriber wants to hear the new voice message is judged(S5). If so, the new voice message is sent to the terminal(S6).
