PURPOSE:To secure proper frontward lighting as well as to make it possible to prevent a passing opposite car from dazzling, by detecting the physical quantity related to a relative angle being made by a car body and a road surface, while setting an optical axis of light to a proper angle to the road surface. CONSTITUTION:When a car comes to an upward slope, causing the center of gravity to be moved to the rear part and increasing a body angle gamma alone, and a road angle delta remains unchanged, a transistor of a road angle detecting sensor 10b continues to have an on-state, while a transistor 12 of a body angle detecting sensor 10a comes on but a transistor 11 comes off so that the input from the transistor 12 to a NOR gate 43 becomes a low level signal. On the other hand, since the input fed to the NOR gate 43 becomes a low level signal entirely, the output of the gate 43 turns to a high level signal and inputted into an OR gate 48 so that a transistor 71 comes on, whereby an electric current is fed to a filament f1 from a battery source 80, thus a lamp glows. Simultaneously with this, a filament f2 goes out. That is to say, when the body angle glows larger in the specified value than the road angle and an optical axis of light comes too much high, the filament is made to glow, compensating an optical axis angle. |
