The novel feature of the further additional patent application relating to the Patent Application P 3320755.0 and to the Additional Applications P 3330480.7 and P 3409325.7 is for the floating members 1c which are accommodated in the frame 16 (Fig. 3) and suspended on traction cables f wound over the drive shaft b3 to be held in the respective highest position of their wave stroke for a period of time by braking devices 43 acting on the drive shaft b3, in order in this way to release the floating member 1c from the water when the waves sink, which can then act while going down after the brakes have been released with their maximum weight on the drive shaft, and that the switching on and off of the braking devices (Figs. 1 and 2) are performed via switch and lever arrangements with the aid of an escapement mechanism by movements emanating from a floating member 1c and from the drive shaft b3. <IMAGE>
