PURPOSE:To obtain a vivid and a highly reliable hue by forming a multilayer having a red colored filter contg. a Magenta and a yellow org. pigments, a green colored filter contg. a yellow and a cyan org. pigments and a blue colored filter contg. a cyan and a Magenta org. pigments respectively. CONSTITUTION:The titled filter is prepared by forming each of the red colored filter 3 contg. the Magenta and the yellow org. pigments, the green colored filter 4 contg. the yellow and the cyan org. pigments and the blue colored filter 5 contg. the cyan and the Magenta org. pigments so as to be the multilayer composed of each of the above described org. pigments. or so as to be a monolayer contg. a mixture of each of the above described org. pigments. The above described colored filters 3, 4 and 5 are formed on a transparent electrode 2 provided on the substrate body 1 by co-vapor-deposition respectively, thereby obtaining a vivid hue, for example a vivid red color of the titled filter, even if a very minor portion of the color filter is observed at a near of said filter. Since the titled filter has an excellent thermal resistance and a high reliability, it is suitable to use to not only a liquid crystal display but also another apparatus such as the CCD apparatus etc. |
