PURPOSE:To reduce the noise generated by a burner by a method wherein plural small holes are provided on the periphery wall of a flow control cylinder forming a flue. CONSTITUTION:By supplying a water from a water supply pipe 12 to a heat exchanger 1, the water is filled into a vertical pipe 4 and a lower header 3, than a hot-water is supplied from a hot-water supply pipe 13. At this time, by the operation of a burner 8 in a burning chamber 7, a high temperature burning gas is introduced to a flue 11 after striking the bottom surface of a flow smoothing cylinder 5, moved up mainly through a space between a vertical pipe 4 and the vertical pipe 4. The flow smoothing cylinder 5 forming the flue 11 is provided with plural small holes 6 on the periphery wall thereof correspond to the space between each vertical pipe 4. That is, a resonance type muffler is formed by providing at least one small hole, therefore, the noise passing through the flue 11 can be absorved effectively. |
