HEIGHT AND ANGLE CONTROLLING TAPE PRODUCER FOR FIXED MAGNETIC HEAD

PURPOSE:To control easily both the height and the angle of a fixed magnetic head and to improve the angle control accuracy, by using the 1st and 2nd magnetic tracks recorded by a record magnetic head for control of the height of the head and the 3rd track for control of the angle of the head respectively. CONSTITUTION:The pulse signal produced from a pulse signal producing circuit 23 is recorded to a magnetic tape 25 by the 1st magnetic record head 25' via a record gap 25. Then an erasion head 26' erases the prescribed width distant from the upper edge part of a record track formed by the head 25' with the erasion signal given from an erasion signal generating circuit 24. Thus the 1st track 33 is formed. While the 2nd track 34 is formed at a prescribed position of the tape 22 by the 2nd magnetic record head 27' with the signal sent from the circuit 23. Furthermore a sine wave signal superposed with the AC bias given from a signal generating circuit 29 is applied to the 3rd magnetic head 28' to form the 3rd track 35 having the prescribed width distant from the lower edge part of the tape 22. Thus a control tape 30 is obtained. Then the height of the megnetic head is controlled by tracks 33 and 34 of the tape 30; while the angle of the magnetic head is controlled by the track 35 respectively.
