PURPOSE:To make it possible to continuously arrange sausages, etc. with a high degree of efficiency with the use of a device for aligning sausage or the like, by inclining a conveyor belt in the direction in which the belt retroacts to the conveyance of the sausages, and by timely controlling the drive of the belt. CONSTITUTION:Small and short rod-like foods such as, for example, sausages which are discharged from a hopper 1 are transferred by a conveyor belt 4 in a conveyor device 2. At this time, since the conveyor belt 4 is inclined at an ascending grade, and since the lengthwise direction of the recessed grooves 3 in the conveyor belt 4 is made coincident with the transfer direction of the conveyor belt 4, the foods received in the grooves are alone arranged in series. Foods which are not yet received in the grooves are rolled and scraped off by a scraper plate 15, and therefore are successively dropped into the grooves to be alinged with each other. Further, a sensor 13 detects the coming of the foods on an aligning section 9, and therefore, the transfer speed of the conveyor belt 4 on which no foods are carried is increased while the conveyor belt 4 on which foods are carried is stopped so that the foods are alinged with each other by means of a blocking plate 12. With this arrangement, the transfer and aligning of foods may be made with a high degree of efficiency. |
