<p>The two-stage process uses two reaction zones in series, so that (a) the zone temps. are controlled at intervals so that the synthesis pressure is as low as possible and the gas flow as high as possible; all the flow circulates through the first zone; the heat control of the zones and their cooling is ensured by heat exchange; the new synthesis gas is introduced into the overhead synthesis water cycle; and the ammonia condensation is effected by cooling with water.</p> |
