The invention relates to a portable assembly for percussion bending of sheet metal, enabling the edge 31 of a sheet-metal panel 28 to be bent with the aid of a percussion device fitted with a pusher. The said assembly includes: - a base 1 forming a support; - translational guide means 2 capable of receiving the pusher 30 of a percussion device 29, the guide means 2 being solidly attached to the base 1 and; - a main moving mass 3 mounted elastically on the base 1, the moving mass 3 being disposed facing the pusher 30 and interacting with the end of the latter, the moving mass 3 furthermore having, at its end opposite the pusher 30, a profile 25' capable of interacting with the edge of the sheet metal panel 28 so that, under a hammering of the pusher 30, the moving mass 3 positioned with the aid of the base 1 on the sheet metal panel 28 hammers the edge of the latter so as to bend it.
