CRYOPRECIPITATE SEPARATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To separate cryoprecipitate-rich blood plasma (enriched CPPTP) to be used for treatment of hemophilic patients continuously with high efficiency, by filtering continuously blood plasma through a membrane having a specific pore size at a specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:Blood plasma previously separated by operation of a pump 5 is passed from a blood plasma container 11 containing the same through a feed line 2 and cooler 6 to a filter 1 having a membrane with 0.1-1.0mu maximum pore size and filtered continuously at -10-+6 deg.C to contain the filtered off cryoprecipitate-rich blood plasma (enriched CPPTP) in a container 7 kept at <=6 deg.C. The filtrate blood plasma is recovered in a container 8, and preserved for reutilization. The filtration pressure in the filter 1 is adjusted by a pressure control valve 9 to increase or decrease the content of the cryoprecipitate in the enriched CPPTP.
