PURPOSE:To regenerate a waste oil of a fluorine-based synthetic lubrication oil to the quality comparable to fresh oil, by mixing the waste oil first with a fluorine-based solvent and then with a non-fluorine solvent, and purifying and removing the impurities in two steps. CONSTITUTION:The waste oil of a fluorine-based synthetic lubrication oil is mixed with a fluorine-based solvent, and a part of the impurities floating on the upper layer of the mixture is removed. A non-fluorine solvent is added to the residue, and the mixture is mixed and separated into two layers. The remaining part of the impurities is transferred to the upper solvent layer by this process. The lower layer containing the fluorine-based solvent and the fluorine-based synthetic lubrication oil is collected, and the fluorine-based solvent and a trace of residual non-fluorine solvent are evaporated to obtain regenerated fluorine- based synthetic lubrication oil.
