PURPOSE:To improve the workability of a dynamometer, by providing a roller and chute and supporting a cable with a pressing-down roller so that a prescribed cable bending angle is secured above the dynamometer. CONSTITUTION:When a cable 3 is set to a dynamometer, a cable bending angle phi is formed by means of a guide roller 21, load table 22, and chute 24. The angle phi produces the downward component of the tension of the cable 3. Therefore, the downward force is measured with a load cell 23 provided below the load table 22 by pushing the load table against the cable 3. When the cable tension is small, the cable bending angle phi is formed by means of the guide roller 21, load table 22, and chute 24 and, when the cable tension is large, the cable bending angle phi is formed by pushing down a pressing-down roller 25 with a hydraulic cylinder 26 and bringing the cable 3 into contact with the chute 24. |
