In a magnetic powder clutch, concentric working surfaces (1.1, 2.1) of the two clutch parts (1, 2) delimit a working gap (3) which, in order to hold the magnetic powder (4) better in the axial direction, has a wavy cross-sectional profile in the axial direction, at least in the region of its two edges, due to profiling of both working surfaces with annular grooves. <IMAGE>
