摘要 PURPOSE:To improve corrosion resistance without spoiling wear resistance, coefft. of dynamic friction, mechanical strength, machinability, plastic workability and forgeability by incorporating Si and Mg in the content of a specified range to an Al-Cu alloy as parts to contact with a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy contg. 1-6% Cu and Si and Mg in the range enclosed by the point A (0.1% Si, 0.2% Mg), the point B (2% Si, 0.2% Mg), the point C (2% Si, 0.8% Mg), the point D (0.4% Si, 0.8% Mg), the point E (0.4% Si, 1.8% Mg) and the point F (0.1% Si and 1.8% Mg) in the figure and contg. 0.1- 1.0% Fe, 0.005-0.2% Ti, or further >=1 kinds of 0.2-1.2% Mn and 0.2-1.2% Cr or 0.5-2.0% in total of >=1 kinds among Pb, Bi, Sn and Sb along or in combination is used as a material for parts to contact with a magnetic tape in a VTR, etc.
