The invention relates to a textile composite material for reinforcements and a process for the production thereof and is used in the field of building construction for reinforcements of mixtures with hydraulic or non-hydraulic binders, in particular concrete.
<??>Whilst the aim of the invention is the simple and cost-effective production of a high strength, strip-shaped textile composite material for reinforcements and the replacement of steel reinforcement by this textile composite material, the object of the invention is to provide a rot-proof textile composite material resistant to high and low temperatures from textile materials, preferably secondary raw materials, whilst maintaining and ensuring the required structural parameters.
<??>This object is achieved according to the invention in that this textile composite material consists of a plurality of superimposed layers of textile materials containing thermoplastic fibrous materials, with or without intermediate layers of high polymeric materials such as films, granules or powder, and is stiffened under the effect of pressure and temperature in appropriate moulds.
