PURPOSE:To make installation of a ventilator of heat exchanger type easy, by providing a fan unit to the outdoor wall, by providing a feed and discharge box to the wall, by providing a collective box to the indoor side of a wall, as well as to detachably connect a fan unit to heat exchanger units by duct fitting plates and ducts provided to the heat exchanger units. CONSTITUTION:A ventilator of heat exchanger type consists of a fan unit 1 provided with a vane 13 for discharge of air, a vane 14 for feed of air, a motor 15, and electric dampers 10 and 11 inside of the unit, and a plurality of heat exchanger units 16 and 25 provided with heat exchanging elements 24 and 33 inside of these units, respectively, and they are connected one another by ducts 35 and 37. The fan unit body is installed on the outdoor side of a wall, and the feed and discharge box 9 is on the outdoor wall, while a collective box on the indoor side of a wall, respectively. The heat exchanger units are detachably connected to the fan unit by ducts and duct fitting plates 34 and 36 through the opening of a ceiling from the inside of a room so as to be freely detached.
