PURPOSE:To improve the separation of toner and the persistency of a roller by incorporating a toner offset preventing solution in the elastic body coating layer of the fixing roller previously and providing a movement preventing layer for the toner offset preventing solution over the surface layer of the elastic body coating layer of a pressure roller. CONSTITUTION:The toner offset preventing solution is incorporated previously in the elastic body coating layer 12 of the fixing roller 1 and then oil in the coating layer 12 moves, bit by bit, to the surface of an unfixed toner image base 5 introduced in between the fixing roller 1 and pressure roller 2, thereby improving the separation of the fixing roller 1. Further, the movement preventing layer 24 for the toner offset preventing solution which is formed on the surface layer of the elastic body coating layer 22 of the pressure roller 2 prevents the toner offset preventing solution in the elastic body coating layer 12 of the fixing roller 1 from moving to the elastic body coating layer 22 of the pressure roller 2 to improve the persistency of the fixing roller. Thus, the separation of toner is improved and the persistency of the fixing roller is also improved. |
