PURPOSE:To prevent the titled device from causing no central blanking phenomenon by selecting a feed paper mechanism so that a set potential of an electrostatic latent image can be switched. CONSTITUTION:In a switching circuit of a changeover switch 7, a high voltage power source 8 applies a high voltage to a corona discharger 2, and one voltage of two kinds of voltages HV1, HV2 is switched and applied by the change- over switch 7. The changeover switch 7 is switched to the low voltage HV1 side when a form cassette C is installed, and switched to the high voltage HV2 side when the form cassette C is removed. That is to say, at the time of an automatic paper feed, the voltage applied to the corona discharger 2 becomes comparatively low, and at the time of a manual paper feed, the applied voltage becomes high. |
