PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain laterally laceratable film with a simple device by a method wherein a specified amount of radical generator is added to specified high-density polyethylene so as to mold by inflation method while or after being reacted with the polyethylene. CONSTITUTION:0.001-0.02pts.wt. of radical generator is added to 100pts.wt. of high-density polyethylene, the melt index of which is 0.01-0.1g/10min, the density of which is 0.950g/cm<3> or above and at the same time the ratio of fluidities is 50 or more. Laterally laceratable film is obtained by decomposing the radical generator and molding by inflation method while or after reacting generated radicals with the polyethylene. As for the radical generator, a generator, the half-life period of which is 1min and the decomposition temperature of which is 130-300 deg.C, such as dicumyl peroxide or the like, is preferable. The preferable temperature of extruded resin during the molding by inflation method is 150- 250 deg.C.
