PURPOSE:To improve sealing effects against both of sea water and oil in equipments by installing a reovery line of leaked liquid which recovers leaked liquid invading into a space, while opening in an arbitrary crevice space among ones formed by seals. CONSTITUTION:Recovery lines of leaked liquid 28, 29, being formed separately from a supply line 26 of liquid under pressure, have openings not only in a crevice space 30 between a mechanical seal 19 and a segment seal 13 on the machine inside but also in a crevice space 31 between both segment seals 13 and 14. And, leaked liquid which invades each of spaces 30, 31, is recovered into the hull by recovery equipments of leaked liquid such as pumps and tanks installed in the hull. Thus, the oil which leaks, if any, out of the mechanical seal 19 can be recovered into the hull by a recovery line 31 of leaked liquid on the machine inside, preventing completely any leakage of oil to the outside of the hull.
