The external roof shutter closure and lock includes a wormwheel-drive box mounted e.g. on the building roof, and includes a catch block of which the end is connected to a flexible shaft, in turn connected to the shutter corner. The shutter (1) is connected at one edge to the building by hinges (2). A wormwheel drive box (3) is also mounted on the building and includes an output spindle (4) and coupling block (5) of which one end is connected to a flexible arm (6), whilst the other end of the arm has a guide support connected to the shutter.
