PURPOSE:To smoothly feed chip-like parts without causing them to be overlapped each other or to be caught by anything, by a method in which the parts are slid on the rail of a linear parts feeder which has a slope face inclined orthogonally to the feeding direction and one end of which is coupled to a block having a similar slope face and air intake ports, and the block is rotated when the parts are placed thereon so as to make the slope face horizontal. CONSTITUTION:A linear parts feeder for supporting and feeding a multiplicity of parts has a both-side rail 11, between which a slope face 14 inclined orthogonally to the feeding direction is provided, and an inclined wall 15 is formed on the side to which the face 14 is inclined. One end of the rail 11 is coupled to a rotatable block 12 having a similar slope face 16 and a similar inclined wall 17, and further having a plurality of air intake ports 22 connected to an intaking vinyl tube 23. When parts are transferred onto the block 12, the block 12 is rotated by a shaft 18 provided on a block support table 13 and then stopped by a stopper 20 so that the slope face 16 of the block 12 is kept horizontally. |
