PURPOSE:To reduce the processing load of a central controller for trouble display by providing a trouble display device on a common system bus and displaying troubles, which are detected by individual devices themselves, through trouble report lines. CONSTITUTION:If error detection is performed fixedly in main storage devices MM0-MM3 and input/output controllers IOC0-IOC2, a central controller CC transmits an alarm transmission command to a trouble display device ERD through a system bus SB. The trouble display device ERD receives and holds the alarm transmission command, and an alarm device MJ is operated when one of trouble visual display elements corresponding to devices is driven at least to display a trouble. When the central controller CC detects recovery of the error and temporality of the trouble as the result of a retry processing, the controller CC transmits a trouble signal reset command to the trouble display device ERD through the system bus and stops driving trouble visual display elements in driven trouble display devices DS and extinguishes them. |
