According to the invention, the panelling comprises at least one crosspiece (2) provided with at least one rabbet (220), in which one edge of a central panel is positioned, which is detachably mounted by virtue of the fact that, moreover, its periphery, produced without a slideway, comprises the zones which are inserted into slideways in two pieces, each defining one wing of the slideway and at least one of which consisting of a piece (1) forming part of the said frame, with the result that the removable central panel may be removed without dismantling all the panelling crosspieces (2), so that at least one can be of non-detachable design.
