PURPOSE:To make it possible to output acceleration as an analogue signal, by converting the up-and-down movement of a rod to the variation in voltage by a variable resistor. CONSTITUTION:When no acceleration is acted, a rod 6 is positioned at its lowermost point because the gravity and fulcrum of a wt. 3 are present on a vertical line. Therefore, because the terminal 15 of a variable resistor 12 is also positioned at its lowermost point, no potential difference is generated at both terminals 15, 14. Next, when acceleration is acted, the wt. 3 is swung corresponding t the acceleration and, when predetermined acceleration is achieved, a push-up plate 4 pushes up the rod 6. Therefore, the slide part of a resistor 12 directly connected to the rod 6 moves to the arbitrary positin of the resistor 12. As a result, potential difference is generated between terminals 14, 15. Now, when a voltmeter 11 is connected between terminals 14, 15, the indication value of the voltmeter 11 can be taken out as an analogue signal corresponding to the change in acceleration. |
