PURPOSE:To provide a lubricant for tableting, having excellent effect as a lubricant for tableting a tablet drug, tablet candy, etc., by using a polyglycerol fatty acid ester having a specific hydroxyl value and composed of a 10-22C fatty acid and a polyglycerol having a specific polymerization degree, as a main component. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant for tableting a tablet drug or tablet candy contains the polyglycerol fatty acid ester having a hydroxyl value of <50 and particle diameter of <250mu and obtained by the conventional esterification of a polyglycerol having a polymerization degree of 2-15 with a 10-22C fatty acid. The content of the ester in the lubricant is >=50%, preferably >=70%. Since the lubricant enables the uniform filling and uniform compression molding of the powdery raw material compared with conventional lubricant, a tablet drug or tablet candy having uniform shape can be produced. |
