PURPOSE:To prevent clogging and to dehydrate sludge surely by mounting a freely openable and closable filter plate in the bottom part of a pressurizing tank, and dehydrating the sludge by utilizing compressed air. CONSTITUTION:An opening 1a is provided in the bottom part of a pressurizing tank 1 provided with a supply port 4 for compressed air and a supply port 2 for liquid sludge, and a filter plate 7 which is freely openable and closable, separates water from sludge, discharges the water to the outside of the tank 1 and allows solids to remain is provided in said opening 1a through a sealing member 9. A pressing and fixing device 10 which seals the tank hermetically by pressing the member 9 through the filter plate 7 is provided between the plate 7 and a base plate A, and an expanding bag 11 is formed thereto. When liquid sludge is introduced into the tank 1 and compressed air is supplied through a supply port 4, the sludge is pressed by the plate 7; at the same time, the sludge is pressed and dehydrated by the compressed air introduced into the bag 11 through a diaphram 11a from the lower part. The dehydrated cake is removed by operating an air cylinder 15 and turning a damper 12 downward. |
