<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink which has excellent long-term dispersion stability and gives transparent white printing on a colored article or a transparent article, containing a specified colorant, an org. solvent, a resin binder and a resistivity modifier. CONSTITUTION:At least one colorant selected from among ZnO, ZnS, PbSO4, PbCO3, Pb(OH)2 and PbO, a resin binder (e.g. rosin-modified maleic acid resin) in a quantity of 1-10 times by weight that of the colorant, at least 0.25wt% resistivity modifier (e.g. LiNO3), 0.01-5wt% surfactant (e.g. zinc octenoate) and an org. solvent (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone) are blended together, dissolved or dispersed in one another in a ball mill and filtered through a filter of 3mum or below to obtain a white ink for ink jet recording, which has a resistivity of 2,000OMEGA.cm or below at an ambient temp. of 5-40 deg.C and a viscosity of 1-15cp and contains the colorant having a particle size of 3mum or below.</p> |
