<p>Automatic releasing mechanism is used for detaching the front cover of a launching barrel for rockets. No mechanical contact takes place between the rocket and the cover on launching. The front cover (3) is removed by the impinging propellant gases from the rocket motor. These gases are deflected from the rear cover (4) and they form a pressure wave travelling forward. The movement direction of the front cover (3) is changed after the separation and this cover is moved in a different direction away from the rocket trajectories.</p> |
