Contact bolt and a method for its production

A contact bolt for an electrical contact element of a contacting device which is used for the electrical testing or measurement of printed-circuit boards or the like. It has a metallic shaft and a metallic contact head which is mounted thereon by means of at least one spot weld. The penetration depth of the spot weld into the shaft is at most DC/3, but not more than 0.35 mm. The diameter of the shaft at the point of the weld is at most 3 mm before welding.
