PURPOSE:To enable staying of a truck in a condition that a belt is operated, by a method wherein a conveying device for conveying a truck is constituted such that a friction plate is mounted to the under surface of the truck, moved over rollers with the aid of a convey belt, and a convey force is produced through frictional contact of the friction plate with the convey belt. CONSTITUTION:A friction plate 2, protruding from the under surface of a truck 1, is always brought into contact with the upper surface of a convey belt 7 with the aid of a press plate 4 and a spring 3, and the truck 1 is guided by a guide roller 5 and a guide rail 11 and is moved on rollers 8 through such friction force. When the truck 1 makes abutment with a stopper, not shown, and brought to a stop, slip is yielded between the convey belt 7 and the friction plate 2, and the operation of the convey belt 7 continues as it is. The succeeding truck 1 is brought into contact with preceding truck 1, and slip occurs in a similar manner and the succeeding truck is forced into a stop. A friction force is adjusted by the spring 3. This constitution enables the truck to be stayed without forcing the convey belt into a stop. |
