3-Benzyl-2-methylimino-5-phenyl-DELTA 4-1,3,4-thiaziazolines of formula (I) are new: (where R and R1 are respectively (a) Cl and H, (b) Cl and 3-Me, (c) Cl and 4-Me, (d) Me and 3-Cl, (e) Me and 4-Me, and (f) Cl and 3-F). Cpds. (I) are herbicides esp. useful against broadleaf weeds and grasses in wheat, rice etc. crops. They are effective 4 lbs./acre.
